Good choice for vegetable/fruit circuits
They were smaller than I expected but they turned out perfect for the fruit and vegetable circuits I used in the electricity lab for children. The surprise was the LED that flashed different colors. They were so excited because I didn't tell them what was going to happen. Most helpful was the labeling of the voltage for all the LEDs. I would order these again!

Great LEDs for a science experiment with elementary students
These LEDs worked great for a science experiment with 2nd graders, building electrical circuits. The lights are big enough for kids to work with easily, and the metal bends enough for kids to manipulate them while building their circuits. All of the lights that my students attempted to use worked. I prefer these to the smaller LEDs because they are more visible and easier to work with. (These are 5 mm, I also have tried 3 mm).

Pleased so far....
appear to be good quality though I haven't tried them all yet. No negatives other than there's no instructions....then again they are LEDs. I really like the multicolor flashing LEDs that are included in the kit, a standard 2 pin LED that appears to be controlled by how fast you switch it on/off. I had to get up to about 150kHz before it did much but then, wow....very cool! These LEDS are very bright btw. +1

Great for school projects
We purchased this set so our son can light up some lemons, bananas, potatoes.... Great for the science fair at school and you get a lot of them. Great price!

Good LEDs
Just what I needed for my project. ...about 10 times more than I needed, but buying this 100 pack was cheaper than paying the shipping to get them individually. Got a lifetime supply now!

Great for science projects!
Perfect for little science projects. We (my son and I) were using potato batteries to light them. They have different voltages needed to illuminate the lights. From1.8 to 4 (white). So we were wiring potato batteries in series to up the voltage to the correct level to illuminate. There is a positive and negative post on these and you just have to remember that when wiring or they won't light. They all did what they said they would do. Next we were going to wire a bunch in parallel with a few d cell batteries. Fun times, science is cool, and these are dirt cheap.

Rainbow of colors. In leds
Will keep using and using. Great as replacement leds.

Great Quality LEDs no bad diodes!
Bought these for my science class to light the LED with potato batteries created from their knowledge of redox reactions in chemistry. Great quality control, did not have a single defective diode.
